Spent some time with Megan and Ryan at the Brandywine Battlefield, they were all about having fun! Megan and Ryan were a dream couple to shoot. They just let go and had fun, laying in the grass, romantic moments, just messing with each other, it was all there. Thanks to the both of you for a wonderful shoot! You made capturing images simply amazing for us! Megan and Ryan will be getting married August 7th, 2009 at Belle Voir, Bensalem, PA

A fun engagement shoot before Ashley and Brian’s wedding day. We shot on location at the Brandywine Park in Wilmington, DE. It was late afternoon, a beautiful day! Ashley and Brian will be getting married on September 26th, 2009 at the Rittenhouse Hotel in Philly. They are sooo excited for their big day! A very nice couple to be around, they had a great time, hugging, kissing and running. They sat along the running Brandywine river for a quiet moment. We look forward to your wedding day in September!

With so many options for parent albums, this one may be the easiest one! If your parents don’t want to choose any images for their album, or they are having the same difficulties narrowing down favorites that you did, the duplicate album is perfect! When you select one of our beautiful Queensberry albums, you can also purchase an exact copy of your album. This means your photo front cover you love so much will match, and the flips you added to your album for some flare will be miniaturized.
Jealous and want one for yourself, not just for mom? They come in two sizes, 5″ and 7″. Parents love the 7″. Brides love the 5″. Perfect purse-size album! Now you don’t have to worry about taking your perfect album into work to show it off, you can take the perfect mini-version of it everywhere. And since it is a copy of your full-size bridal album, your parents could end up with four to five times the number of images they would have had in a similarly priced custom album!
Kerry & Alfred recently completed their album and chose to do a duplicate album for her parents. They chose to do the beautiful Duo style album, which is a combination of the traditional matted book, with full page images for a great impact. When adding a duplicate album to your Queensberry order, any matting is digitized, so all mini-books are completely flush. Since Kerry & Alfred chose black mats for their album, so their small digital book had black backgrounds. If you choose ivory mats, the book would be flush with white backgrounds.

If your album is in its final stages of production, contact the studio to see if you can still add a duplicate to your order!

Kelly and Mike love the water and the beach. They will be married at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club in September. Chesapeake City seemed like the perfect location for a combination of historic and waterfront. The heat did not stop these guys from having fun! We all cooled off with a little ice cream at the end. Malibu, their young lab is no Marley! She was very calm and posed for the camera despite the heat. I am looking forward to capturing all the special moments on your wedding day.

The Couple: Chelsea Kirk and Gary Rhudy
Getting Ready: Home Farm in Oxford, PA
Ceremony:Home Farm in Oxford, PA
Pics of Couple, Bridal Party and Families: On home property
Reception: Kennett Square Country Club, Kennett Square, PA
What I remember most about Chelsea and Gary and the Wedding Day: It was so nice to be on Chelsea’s parents property, just a beautiful setting! The ceremony was held outside under the trees with a picturesque setting in the background, horses running in the green grass! We walked around the property and found some great locations to shoot. Chelsea climbed on her horse! Bare feet with a wedding dress, good weather….. well, it was perfect. Chelsea you are a sweetheart! Gary, thanks for putting up with the heat. The family also had an antique car we played with a bit, fun, fun! Thank you Holly and Don for your warm and generous hospitality. Wedding planning by Beka of Innove You did a wonderful job!

This is my personal testimony to decorating with photography. And, in a way, to non-wedding photography for couples.
Just because you don’t have kids yet, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t keep working with a photographer after your wedding. I have plenty of “arms-length” pictures of me and my husband (you know the ones I am talking about), but we didn’t have a ton of great pictures of us that were taken by someone else. Not since our wedding…four years ago. And neither of us liked being in front of the camera..or so we thought! First of all – four years is too long. Second – give it a try – and I guarantee you’ll be hooked. Pete is already coming up with ideas for the other types of shoots we want to do.
Okay – if you missed the shoot Jana did of us in April - check it out. You’ll understand why we are obsessed with what she created for us in just 45 minutes of walking around our neighborhood, talking, and having fun. Forty-five minutes. That’s it. That was all we needed to end up with over 100 perfect finished images. And it was incredible! Oh – and we got to take our dog! :) You can’t quite see it in the photo , but in the background of the huge canvas is the Falls Bridge. I am in love with the sunsets over this bridge, but I never envisioned it like this. I went to school in the East Falls area and we moved back in early 2007. We have had this gigantic wall with nothing on it for the past two and a half years. We were waiting for the perfect image. It needed something big, but we didn’t want to default to something from IKEA that everyone else had. That’s my story.
Now my testimonial to decorating with photography….Canvas gallery wraps are such an amazing way to decorate! Price-wise they are comparable to framing a print sometimes less, but it provides such a modern, versatile look. I never have to worry about the frame matching my decor, just the image. The focus is only on your image. And you can go way bigger!!!
This wall is in our living room. The ceiling is slanted and goes from about 16′-20′ at the highest point. To give you some perspective, those windows are 10 feet high by 12 feet wide. The “small” canvases are 16″x24″ and 1.5″ deep. They were taken on our honeymoon in Alaska. The big one is BIG!!! I LOVE IT! I can’t say it enough. It is 40″x60″ and 2.5″ deep. That’s as big as 30 8″x10″ prints! Yeah…I would rather have that one “WOW” image on this wall than 30 8×10’s. Or any number of smaller framed prints really.
Now are you ready to schedule your “just because shoot”?
Thank you again Jana!!!!!! We cannot thank you enough for what you helped us create!

The Couple: Ashlee Thomson and Jonathan Bradbard
Getting Ready: Hotel DuPont, Wilmington, DE
Ceremony:Winterthur Estate And Gardens, Winterthur, DE
Pics of Couple, Bridal Party and Families: Winterthur Estate And Gardens, Winterthur, DE
Reception: Winterthur Estate And Gardens, Winterthur, DE
What I remember most about Ashlee and Jonathan and the wedding Day: Walking around Winterthur with Ashlee and Jonathan, getting amazing pics and watching the two of them having fun and interacting with each other. There were great moments that day….. There was an antique car show on the property and it was so perfect the “style” of the couple and the vintage cars, perfect together! Ashlee had a smile on her face the entire day, she enjoyed her wedding day sooo much. She was definitely in the “moment” all day. They both love life, love each other, and love their dogs! The reception was held outdoors under a moon lit sky, with the sounds of Mr. Greengenes filling the summer air. This was the band they heard on there first date, loved them so much it was a must for the wedding day entertainment. They had so much energy.. and kept everybody on their feet partying and dancing throughout the night!
Thank You Ashlee and Jonathan!
