We photographed the 2010 Teen Design Fair at the Renwick Gallery earlier this week. Washington DC teens were invited to learn about careers from the National Design Awards winner, finalists and jurors. These professionals are working in the fields of fashion, industrial design, architecture, multimedia, and graphic design. The students met Jenna Lyons from J.Crew, John Jay, Behnaz Sarafpour, Tim Gunn from Project Runway – the keynote speaker, and many others. Capturing the teen’s faces as they met with their design idols was incredible and the designers seemed to really enjoy explaining what it takes to follow one’s dreams.
It was a great pleasure working with Occasions Caterers .
We love DC and hope to visit soon.

It has been almost two years since we photographed Orion. He was such a cute baby then. It was amazing seeing him all grown up! He loves Happy Feet and anything to do with water. The only disappoint was that Winterthur does not have any penguins!

V became a big sister a few weeks ago and she is loving every minute with baby G. We love documenting families well after their wedding!

A spring wedding day in Philadelphia with Natalie Dorazio and Russ Nelson. A couple that loved to have fun and knew how to truly enjoy their wedding day! Married at the Beautiful Basilica in Philadelphia and over to The Loews for a wonderful reception. Dancing and partying to the sounds of The Heartbeats . Thanks David for all your help at the Hotel. We had nice weather that day while we created and documented photos at the Rodin Museum. I want specially thank Anna, Vince and Barbara and mike the proud parents of Natalie and Russ. We had a great time working with your family and friends. The BIG day come together so well thanks to Lisa and Mark Kingsdorf from The Queen of Hearts wedding consulting team. We had a late nite wedding crasher- “Joey” Natalie and Russ’s Yellow Lab! He was a hit!

Ashlee and Jon were married last year at Wintherthur “An American Country Museum and Estate” located in the beautiful Brandywine valley area. It was a very special outdoor wedding in a tent setting…. Please take a look at the blog post from their wedding. HERE.   

A lot has happened since we photographed Melissa & Dan’s wedding five years ago. Meet their three beautiful and lively boys. Enchanted Woods at Winterthur is a perfect place for a photo session on a hot summer day. The boys enjoyed all of the “kid size” housed and especially all the water features.

We truly enjoyed getting to know Ariel and her family. We spent time in her back yard playing with her dog. They were so cute together!
Greenville Country Club was a great back drop for the remainder of the session. Ariel will celebrate being a Bat Mitzvah here in October. We are looking forward to documenting your day!

An on location baby shoot with a special past wedding client Joe Ceci and Joe Sobota and their 2 week old baby Joseph Dorian “JD” From belly to baby…. several weeks ago we did a belly shoot with Ceci here in the studio.
Little baby Joseph Dorian was sooo cute! Precious and so cuddly! We were on location in their beautifully decorated home that was tastefully and creatively decorated by Ceci who is a designer. The complementing colors and wall textures made great backgrounds. Add awesome window light and the cutest newborn on the planet and WOW! What an amazing shoot we all had! Jana does so well with interacting with the little ones and the new mommies. We both enjoyed photography the joy and happiness on the faces of the new proud parents. It was also very rewarding to see lots of their wedding pics hanging on the walls in beautiful display. Thank you Ceci, Joe and baby JD for letting us into your lives. We hope you like the moments we captured….. enjoy this most precious time in your lives…
