Had to get out of my Landcruiser and capture this approaching storm. Full Sun and snow it was co cool! Right after I shot these images a small blizzard passed through the area lasting only 5 minutes.

Enjoy your day and weekend as much as we are.
Just a fun shot of my wife and I in front of some old metal garage door. We had a great time visiting the PhotoPlusExpo, lots of new photo products that we looked over and several close friends we meet up with. We feel it is always important to keep current and to stay on top of our game, the Expo being just one of several events we attend throughout the year.

Happy Together!

My wife on the streets of NY, another really cool Background, I love NY!
Jana and I snapped a few infrared shots after and engagement shoot at Winterthur. Look at the clouds and how dramatic the scene is with the magic of infrared! This is not a photoshop action, nothing was done in post with the exception of some level/contrast adjustments.

It was so nice to spend time with my son this past weekend. We took a trip up to vermont after my wedding on Friday. It was just a dad and son trip, picture taking hiking and enjoying the amazing fall foliage. I will be posting some photos in the next couple of days. I have included some pics of Ryan, he is really taking to photography, I am so proud of him!

Ryan on the trail to a really cool waterfall!

We stopped for some food, no shortgage of backgrounds here…

just a sneak peak, can’t wait to show you more of Ryan’s photos.
Well I hung all sixteen prints last week, wow that was tough trying to decide what print went where. I even had to hang a few prints in the bathrooms/hallway because I ran out of space in the main serving area. It was such a great feeling to hear the customers commenting on the artwork! I mingled a bit with the guests and and answered questions that they had about the trip and the photographs. Things are going well after a week, almost all of the complimentary post cards have been taken by interested customers. If you don’t know already I had 50 custom postcards made of each print for Starbuck’s customers to take with them. They are a hit! I needed to order more today. These post cards will be available for free for the duration of the show which runs between Oct 4th -Nov 3rd, After that the entire collection of 16 custom made glossy cards will be available for purchase. The price for the entire collection(16 different cards) will be 25.00. If you would like to view them check them out here

The print colors really match the feel of the store, that worked out well!

Put cream and sugar in your coffee while looking at the beautiful west, Life is good!

Postcards for Starbucks customers and some of “my thoughts” on the collection
I would like to share with you my “Images from out West” postcards series that I have created. Each Postcard represents one fine art print that I custom processed and printed. The large fine prints were carefully printed on Moab archival heavyweight matte rag paper using archival pigment based inks. This is a limited edition collection. Only 50 of each print will be made, each hand signed and numbered. Please call me for pricing and mounting options. The print sizes are listed under each postcard. There are 16 images in this “Images from Out West” series. The 16 postcards are available for sale as a series for $25.00. We will be having a showing at the Starbucks in Kennett Square starting today and ending November 2nd. Please stop by and view the gallery! As a matter of fact email me and I will have a coffee and talk about the trip out west.
Hope to see you soon…

I am so excited to announce that Starbucks® in Kennett Square will be showing my personal “Images from Out West” fine art print Collection! It was so stimulating to get back to landscape shooting and the fine art side of photography! Traveling, spending time outdoors and shooting some of the best landscape on the planet! WOW! It was so cool! On this trip to the west this past spring I just had to capture the beautiful Southwest. As a family we traveled through Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and Utah stopping at many amazing and scenic places along the way(including what is left of route 66.)
Just call me and I will treat you to a coffee, and a sweet treat! I really look forward to sharing my western adventure with you and my passion and love for photography. The showing will last for one month, beginning October 3rd ending November 1st. Sixteen custom hand made prints prints will be displayed. All prints will be hand signed, numbered and for sale in limited quantities,(only 50 of each print will be made!) check back soon on our site under “Fine Art” on the home page. I will also be coming back to the blog to share photos from the show opening and some personal favorites from the collection.
Enjoy!
